No doubt this supplement works. I’m post-menopausal (15+ years) and my host flashes almost always make me feel like I can’t breathe. This supplement has given me so much relief from that as well as increased energy. My husband took this also and it initially gave him more energy physically and mentally. He has an MTHFR/COMT issue and paradoxically too many/too much methylated B vitamins cause problems…overmethylation. This supplement has way too much methylated B12 in it. He has to take non-methylated forms of B12 and as such unfortunately can no longer take this with any regularity. If you’re taking a b complex supplement and this you’re probably getting A LOT of B12 and even though it’s water soluble can cause issues. I wish that this was available without such a huge dose of methylated B12.

You bring up a thoughtful point regarding the methylated Vitamin B12 in our formula. Individuals with the COMT gene variant may be more sensitive to methylated B12, particularly if they are already taking a methylated B-complex supplement. While this affects a relatively small percentage of people, we understand how important it can be for those individuals.
Vitamin B12 is included in our formula to support red blood cell health, oxygen delivery, and cellular energy metabolism as part of the overall formulation. While we've discussed the possibility of offering a version without methylated B12, we do not currently have plans to introduce a second formulation.
